How long are your Private Tours?
|
Our Full Day Tours are 8 hours (9:00 to 17:00) but we often go a lot longer than that to ensure our clients receive great value for money and a wonderful experience. This is especially so when we have to drive a while to get to our destination, such as for Private Tours to Waitomo and Rotorua. In those cases our tours last much longer to ensure you see as much as possible.

What do I need to bring on your Private Tours?
|
For all our tours please bring clothes suitable for the changing NZ weather conditions on the day. We recommend in addition:
- Spare clothes to change into in case you get wet (especially for Kayaking & Kayak Fishing)
- A sunhat (or warm hat in winter), sunscreen and sunglasses
- Your camera with LOTS of battery and memory space!
- Good walking shoes or hiking boots (for Guided Wilderness Walks)
- Swimming gear (for Kayaking, Kayak Fishing & Kite Fishing but also possible for other tours)
- A smile!

What do you provide on your Private Tours?
|
We provide everything for your tour including all transport from and to your accommodation in Auckland city, lunch (full & overnight tours), snacks, hot/cold drinks. We also supply you with all equipment as required for each tour.

What do your Private Tours cost?
|
Prices for our Auckland Private Luxury Tours:
5+ people $245 each
4 people $295 each
3 people $345 each
2 people $475 each
1 person $950
This is also our per day rate if you would like a multi-day Private Tour ex-Auckland with us. Such tours are very popular, for example Waitomo, Taupo, Rotorua, Coromandel and Bay of Islands return. We are easily able to customise all our Private Tours to meet your requirements. Please note that our tours are highly personal and we include transport, a full lunch (full day tours) plus snacks and hot/cold drink on all our Private Tours.

What happens if it rains or the weather is bad?
|
Our Private Tours are not affected by the weather (except if you require an Auckland Outdoor Adventure as a Private Tour) and operate all year around. An exception is of course if the booked Private Tour is one of our Auckland Outdoor Adventures such as Kayak Fishing Tours, Kayaking Adventures or Kite Fishing Tours. Should it rain we have umbrellas on board our vehicles. If for any reason we deem the weather to be unsuitable (a bit of rain is not such a reason), then we may cancel a tour and give you the choice between a full refund and postponement of a tour to another day.

What if I am on my own?
|
Our Private Tours can be booked from just 1 person to as large a group as you would like to book. Please ask us and we will be happy to help!

What is special about your Private Tours?
|
Our Auckland Private Tours are designed specially for you and/or your specific group, so that we can show you some amazing places based on your specific interests. We also offer all our Auckland Day Tours as Private Tours, so that you have the choice of whether or not to have other people on the Auckland Tour with you.
Our Private Tours are also designed for you to be able to visit such amazing destinations as Waitomo Caves, Rotorua, Coromandel and the Bay of Islands in the added comfort of our luxury 4 Wheel Drive vehicle, as opposed to being confined in a large group situation such as offered by bus tours. What’s more, in most cases when considering our included lunch, snacks and hot/cold drinks, our Private Tours are much better value than when booking a bus tour!

What is your guide to client ratio?
|
On our Private Tours we guide only you and/or your specific group. We are also able to cater for larger groups upon request – please contact us to request a quote. Nobody else will be on our Private Tours, so the group size is as small (from just 1 person) or as large as you would like it to be.

Where do we go?
|
All our Auckland Tours are bookable as Private Tours to ensure we cater exactly to your requirements and you can enjoy our unique tours exclusively by yourself or with your family and/or friends. In addition, we can cater for tours around New Zealand as well as our most popular Private Tours to locations such as Waitomo Caves, Rotorua, Coromandel and the Bay of Islands.
